Dr. Lee will join the Johns Hopkins Department of Neuroscience community in 2019. His laboratory research focus will be to understand brain mechanisms of decision making, in particular the role of the prefrontal cortex and basal ganglia in reinforcement learning and economic choices. His research employs diverse methods developed in economics, psychology, and neuroscience. He is also an expert in statistical modeling of behavioral and neurophysiological data. Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and postdoctoral training in neurophysiology at the University of Minnesota.
