2023 DuBose Postdoctoral Research Scholar Award
The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine is pleased to announce that Karina Chaudhari, Ph.D., Department of Neuroscience, has been selected as the inaugural DuBose Postdoctoral Research Scholar awardee. Dr. Chaudhari’s research project is entitled ‘How the human eye detects motion: The identification and characterization of the direction-selective circuit in the primate retina.’ Her faculty PI/mentor is Dr. Alex Kolodkin.
Dr. Chaudhari will receive a first-place prize of $25,000. The DuBose Postdoctoral Research Scholar Award is funded through a generous gift from The John and Lynne DuBose Fellowship Fund for Medical Discovery. More information about Dr. DuBose and his family can be found here.
